Miserable U.S. Team
Just finished watching the U.S. get hammered by the Czech Republic. Granted, the Czech Republic are high ranked coming into this World Cup, but even the American ESPN commentators agreed that the U.S. team barely even showed up, completely aside fromt he 3-0 outcome. The next match for the U.S. is gonna be tough against the usually brilliant Italian team. However, Italy have had scandal issues and will be playing with distraction.

They didn't look overly distracted against Ghana!
Thanks, Dawn (Taylor?). I didn't actually see that match myself, but just from looking at the score, it appears that Italy had no problems taking out Ghana. Wasn't Ghana ranked 48th in the world by FIFA? Having said that, the U.S. was ranked 5th and they certainly did NOT play like a top rated team in the world. We'll see which team shows up against Italy on the 17th - the team that got squashed by the Czechs or the team that's supposed to be ranked 5th in the world.
Yup... taylor! And Ghana actually held their own. Let's hope the 5th ranked team shows up! Now waiting to watch Brazil & Croatia tonight. Oh, and let none of my commentary fool you into thinking I know much of anything! Just enjoying the action. Kiss your gorgeous wife for me! Or better yet, kiss her for you, and just tell her I was asking for her...
